With the fall season fast approaching, I’m winding down my summer drinks series with two final posts. First up is this recipe for Blackberry Lime Mint Faux-jitos that I’m very excited about sharing.
Since we were planning to make most of our meals during our trip to the mountains a few weeks ago, I decided why not make my final two drink recipes while we were on vacation. After all the VRBO we were staying in had it’s own drink shaker and plenty of interesting glassware to use!
I’m sure you’re noticing that I tend to go with blackberry flavors quite often, so when I was thinking up the recipe for this Faux-jitos, I thought instead of simple syrup, why not use some of our Blackberry Syrup. If you don’t have access to blackberry syrup you can definitely just use simple syrup.
To top off our drinks I finished everything up with San Pellegrino Sparkling Water. It’s been our go-to for years. Other options that you might have on hand would be Perrier, or your favorite brand of club soda.
