One of the things that can really impress me about a stay at a hotel is how they do their breakfasts in the morning. You simply can’t get your day started right without a good breakfast, and since we knew there was a package where breakfast could be included in your stay at the Inn at Biltmore Estate, and we already knew from our previous stay how much we enjoyed our breakfasts, it was the obvious choice.
There are definitely plenty of places to relax the hours away throughout the lobby of the hotel, and it’s the perfect waiting place for the announcements of the next shuttles arrival.
While we waited, mum took advantage of the tea and coffee station located in the Library Lounge and we took in the scenery.
I couldn’t be happier with the fact that I popped in to Page 6, a local boutique not far from where I live, on a whim after seeing it in the window. I have been loving the cold shoulder look for ages, but hadn’t decided to ‘take the plunge’ until I saw this dress. It’s the perfect thing for hot and humid weather as the shift design allows for breathability as does the open shoulder detail.
Located on the 1st floor, you can enjoy either items off the menu or as many prefer the buffet option. Although I’m not a big eater regardless of the time of day, I really enjoy sampling a variety of items that are available at the buffet the highlight of which is the omelet station.
Along with your breakfast you have can have fresh orange juice and coffee or tea depending on your preference.
Time to head upstairs and catch the next shuttle off the Biltmore House and Gardens. Stay tuned for tomorrows post which will include our day at the Estate and more pictures of my cold shoulder dress.
