There’s nothing that says fall like our annual pumpkin project. Last year we created Succulent Pumpkins which was quite an undertaking when you’re dealing with live plants. Don’t get me wrong, it was so much fun picking out unique succulents at our local garden stores, but this year we wanted to work with faux florals.
For this project you’ll need:
- Pumpkins (varying sizes and colors)
- Faux florals
- Hot glue gun
- Tags/Ribbon
- Pen or Marker
We picked up our collection of fall faux florals from our local Michael’s. It’s a good idea to have your color scheme in mind before you go into the store.
Planning out your florals first before attaching them to your pumpkin makes the project so much easier (and a lot more fun!) Also, when using a glue gun, it’s a good idea to add hot glue both to the stem of the floral and to where you’re planning on placing your florals around the pumpkins stem. Hold in place until the glue has done it’s work…
All of our florals attached, just a few more details to go…
My sister finished up her floral pumpkin first…
