Our first stop when we arrived at Montage Palmetto Bluff was Sunday brunch at the Montage’s newest restaurant, Jessamine’s. Named after South Carolina’s state flower, this restaurant offers plenty of southern charm from the moment you walk in.
Since the Low Country excels at fresh seafood, you can try out southern classics like shrimp and grits or if you’re looking for lighter fare I recommend the Buttermilk Pancakes with a fresh fruit smoothie.
No matter what you are in the mood for, Jessamine’s is definitely a restaurant you want on your must try list during your visit at the Montage Palmetto Bluff.
Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, but if the weather is fine, I would recommend taking the opportunity for some fresh air and sunshine. If you find the weather to warm for your liking the staff will happily show you to a table in doors, no judgment. Or you can simply order more ice for your drinks and brave the warmth like we did, because the views are worth leaving your skin sun kissed.
After lunch we walked down to the dock and got a snap of the boat that takes guests around the lagoon and out for the dolphin tours.
