Ever since I first decided to go with all natural deodorants I’ve been obsessed with Primally Pure. All of their products are made with all natural & non-toxic ingredients that are both organic and fair trade which gives you a the peace of mind you want when you’re using a product on a daily basis.

Recently I had the opportunity to try out another of Primally Pure’s products, lip balms. I’m the kind of girl who likes to keep a lip balm on her at all times, whether I’m layering it under lipsticks (which can really dry your lips out) or wearing the lip balm all on its own when I’m going for a more natural look, so I jumped at the chance to try out these lip balms.

Love how the set comes in a drawstring bag making it easy to just pop your lip balms in your handbag without any fear of them getting lost!

Cocoa

Ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa butter

One of the ‘mottos’ of Primarily Pure is, ‘Fewer Ingredients, Superior Results’ and this lip balm which is made of just three ingredients, is definitely my go-to lip balm for layering under my lipstick.

Also worth mentioning is the fact that all of these lip balms have a nice mellow scent to them which is something that’s hard to find for those of us with fragrance allergies. So if you want something simple, the Cocoa lip balm would definitely be my suggestion on the lip balm you should try out first.

Creamsicle

Ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa butter, tallow from grass-fed cows, mango butter, orange essential oils, vanilla absolute

This is a lip balm for the girl (or boy) who loves all things sweet. With the combination of orange essential oils and vanilla absolute you’ll be craving a creamsicle every time you swipe this lip balm across your lips.

Grapefruit

Ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa butter, tallow from grass-fed cows, mango butter, grapefruit essential oil

This grapefruit lip balm and the one I’m sharing about next were my ABSOLUTE favorites from the set. I’ve always preferred the fresh clean scent of citrus and I’ve used orange essential oils in the past. Plus citrus essential oils can not only calm the stomach but make you feel more relaxed and refreshed. So this lip balm will be one of that I’ll keep with me whether I’m at home or at work.

Lavender

Ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa butter, tallow from grass-fed cows, mango butter, lavender essential oil

As a migraine sufferer, I have used lavender essential oils in the past and if you prefer to go the natural route when it comes to dealing with migraines, lavender is definitely something to try.

The lavender aroma of this lip balm (like with the others from Primally Pure) is mellow and calming so I’ll be sure to have this lip balm along with me on a daily basis.

Peppermint

Ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa butter, tallow from grass-fed cows, mango butter, peppermint essential oil

When I think of fresh breath, I think peppermint (some might prefer wintergreen or spearmint but peppermint is the only mint that appeals to me personally.) This lip balm is both refreshingly and minty making it another essential lip balm for your collection.

You can visit the Primally Pure website here if there is a flavor (or flavors) of lip balms that you’d like give a try.

Disclosure: I received these lip balms from Primally Pure to try and share about here on the blog. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
