If you’re what is known as a breadlover or my preferred term ‘bread-a-tarian’ then you’ll love this Ultimate Breadlover’s Brunch Board. Despite this board being mostly centered around bread, the whole idea started with a unique jar of wild lingonberry jam we found at the store. We always love featuring unique things, and this jam made by D’arbo, a Austrian based brand made the perfect centerpiece for our board.
There are so many different kinds of breads you can feature (ex. scones, pancakes, your favorite sliced breads, bagels, muffins) but for our board we went with Waffles (365 brand from Whole Foods), Honey Cake & Cinnamon Cobblestone (from our local bakery Breadsmith) and pop-able Figgin’ Fruit in Turkish Fig. The soft baked real fig poppables are just the cutest, and while the serving size is 6, they can get seriously rich after 2. We found them at Fresh Market and for anyone who is vegan or deals with dairy intolerance these are the perfect on the go snack!
As far as fruit we sliced up the last remain strawberries that we had on hand, and some fresh black figs we picked up from Whole Foods the previous day.
In addition to our fruit toppings and jam toppings we opted for some delicious clover honey, goat butter and whipped cream for those who enjoy a little touch of added sweetness to their waffles.
