I can hardly believe that by the next edition of On the List we will be at the halfway point of our Charleston vacation. Even as I’m writing this it feels odd to be talking about any kind of vacation. We’re taking precautions for our trip, thankfully masks are mandatory in most cities in South Carolina including Charleston (and statewide in North Carolina) and we will picking up all of our food to-go as we have done for the past several months even though many restaurants have started opening up their dining rooms. I know eventually we might feel comfortable eating in at some of our favorite spots, but for now we’re choosing to avoid it for safety sake especially given the fact that cases are currently on the rise here the south.
I’m looking forward to giving you all an inside look at where we’ll be staying (we’ve never stayed there before, so I’m excited about that!), the delicious dishes we order to-go (and the ones we make ourselves) and some fun summery outfits. If any of you have suggestions on spots I should check out during my trip, feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post!
