Just one weekend away from apple picking! I’m so excited to be visiting Windy Hill Orchard in York to pick apples. Apple picking has been something that I’ve wanted to do every season and for some reason or other we never get around to it. To make it even more of a family experience my sister and brother-in-law will be visiting the farm along with baby Cecileia and I’ll be sharing all about it on the blog soon.

What I’m watching…
ReigN
When this show was on the CW originally, I only made it up to the episode after (spoiler if you haven’t watched the series) Francis died. After his death I just missed his character so much I didn’t want to continue watching it without him. Let’s see if I can make it all the way through this time!
What I’m reading…
The inheritance games
The is a new YA book that was released the beginning of December and I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s also part of my upcoming Fall Reading List that will be coming out in a few weeks, so stay tuned!
The southern Entertainers Cookbook
I always enjoy reading through new cookbook releases, and there’s a new cookbook that just came out last week by Courtney Whitmore.
What I’m Cooking…
Spiced White Peaches with Spreadable Savory CHEVOO
I’m so excited to share two peach related recipes here on the blog next week. The first is my Peachy Spiced Mocktail that I created for the first time while I was in Boone last month, the second is this elevated breakfast (or weekend lunch) recipe using spiced white peaches and the newest spreadable CHEVOO flavor that I’ve tried out. YUM-MY!
Massive chocolate chip cookies
I’ve previously tried out a recipe that is based of the chocolate chip cookies from a NYC Bakery (Levain Bakery) and now I’m going to try a similar recipe but actually make them the size they’re supposed to be.
Taking pictures in a field of sunflowers has always been #goals, and I’ve finally found the prefect spot that I plan to visit (next year!) Until then, I’ll continue to be inspired by Krystal Bick’s (This Time Tomorrow) post, Tournesol. (I also seriously need her hat!) Also the post The Summer That Almost Never Was, features the most dreamy photo shoot featuring Krystal in Diane von Furstenburg and her good friend Igee.
This Blackberry Almond Upside Down Cake from Bake from Scratch is definitely on my must bake list.
Grace of The Stripe shares How to Give Yourself a Facial Massage.
What’s better than broccoli cheddar soup? This One Skillet Cheesy Broccoli Cheddar Orzo Bake from Half Baked Harvest.
Spend an Afternoon at Stourhead with What Olivia Did.
In the mood for jam making this weekend? Try out the Easy Blackberry Jam recipe via The View from Great Island.
If you’re looking for a cute ruffle sleeves shift dress that’s perfect for transitioning from summer to fall (with the option for layering on cooler days!) the Dot Ruffle Sleeve Dress from Ann Taylor is one I highly recommend. It’s one of the pieces I snapped up on the Labor Day sale (60% off!) earlier this month, I can’t wait to share how I’ve styled it soon!
