Can you believe that it’s almost the end of October? It feels like I was just celebrating my birthday the first weekend of the month, and now we have just one week of October left! I hope that everyone has had a wonderful month, and that everyone is staying safe and well! With the current pandemic we’ve been doing our best to keep our spirits up and come up with new (and safe routines) for our Saturday’s out and about.
For those of you who follow me via Instagram, you’ll already have seen this recipe for an Iced Turmeric Latte, and I thought I would share the recipe along with this weeks edition of On the List. There are so many health benefits when it comes to Tumeric, from protecting your immune system which is more important than ever as we enter flu season (PSA. Has everyone gotten their flu shots yet?) to promoting better digestion and it can even help you have a more relaxing night sleep. So if you’re looking for a low caffeine beverage to enjoy prior to bedtime, this could be something for you to try out!
In other news… we made the most deliciously spook-tacular board that I shared on the blog earlier this week, and it’s one of my most favorite boards that we’ve ever created, and it was so fun and easy to make. You could even make it a Halloween project to do with the littles (or as a fun girls night in) this Halloween. Also… stay tuned to our S’mores Board (coming here to the blog next week) and our Spooky S’more’s that I hope to release via Instagram on Halloween!
Hot Latte Recipe
Add 1/2 tsp (2.5 grams) of
Turmeric Ashwangandha Latte Mix to 7oz (200ml) of Hot Water or Milk
Add any sweetener of your choice to the cup. (I prefer honey!)
Stir well.
