Well, we’re almost half way through March and just a month away from our little getaway to Hilton Head. I’ve been looking forward to being close to the ocean, and our VRBO is just a short walk to the beach. I’m also very excited about the little soiree that we’re having for my mom’s birthday (with just our immediate family of course) while we’re there. I’ve partnered with a brand that I’ve been following for years that has the most beautiful table settings for rent, and we’re going to pick up fresh flowers and order in delicious food from one of the local restaurants.
In other news… we’ve been enjoying the most beautiful spring weather this past week. After so many days of rain, it was so nice to have afternoons the 60-70’s and without humidity too. (Something that it seems we always have here in the South once the spring/summer seasons come around.)
Last weekend we really enjoyed putting together a little Taste of Spring charcuterie board (which will be coming to blog next week) and I’ve already shared the Orange U Thyme-ing Me drink (aka a Virgin Mimosa with fresh Thyme) as the first official drink of 2021. I’ve come up with the names for several more drinks already, just have to tweak the recipes a bit and they’ll be coming to the blog soon.
Another post coming your way next week is with the founder of a brand called youbody. They aim to revolutionize body washes and offer a more sustainable (and environmentally friendly) solution.
I had to share this close up of the Natalie that I took at my sisters house a few weekends back. I love how the carpet really shows them off. Plus the design of the shoe is just so striking.
