We have a relaxing weekend planned, with dinner out on Saturday night and a baby sprinkle/afternoon tea for my sister tomorrow. My niece, Cecileia (18 months) will also be joining us for the tea and we’re hoping that it goes well since we had a very successful lunch out during our recent trip to Highlands, NC. To see how everything went for our afternoon tea be sure to keep an eye on my Instagram feed for updates and perhaps a reel or two.
Also, has anyone seen the trailer for Twist on Amazon Prime? It stars Michael Caine and Lena Headey and I’m looking forward to checking out this weekend. I also had a chance to check out Jungle Cruise when it was released on Disney+ last week. The movie stars Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) and Emily Blunt and while probably not ideal for elementary-age children due to some thematic elements, I really enjoyed it and there’s even an unexpected twist to watch out for. Lastly, if you’re looking for a new series, Only Murders in Building coming to Hulu on 8/31 looks very intriguing!
