It’s my birthday weekend! Today I’m getting a much-needed birthday blowout before heading out to one of my favorite areas of Charlotte that we haven’t been to in over a year. We’re also picking up my birthday cake which is going to be beyond delicious and the last few items for the risotto that we’re making.
I’m also excited that I’ll be shooting the first of several posts featuring the new Julie Inn and Fall Collection for the San Diego Hat Company. For those of you who are well aware of my love of hats, I’m so excited to have a chance to style these gorgeous hats!
This garden of ‘floating orchids’ is absolutely breathtaking.
I love the quote from the post about being your own brand of magic.

With the arrival of fall, it’s time to start pulling out the Insta Pot or Slow Cooker. This Slow Cooker Mustard Herb Chicken with Creamy Orzo looks all sorts of delicious.
I just received an advanced copy of Diane Chamblain’s The Last House on the Street that comes out in January 2022. It’s supposed to be her best yet and I can’t wait to start reading it!
