This week has been a bit of a rough one, getting back into the swing of things after a holiday is always rough for everyone though. Last weekend, my sister visited with my two nieces for the long weekend. We picked up all sorts of goodies for a holiday meal, got some peaches that are now ripe enough to enjoy from the nearby peach farm, and visited the horses and horse barn. Seeing my eldest niece see the horses (that were far larger than she’d imagined) was truly a special memory that I was so glad to be a part of.
Since we had such a busy weekend last week, we’re keeping things close to home this week, but there will be recipes coming to the blog next week which may include a summery charcuterie board, and how I zhuzh-ed up the Sparkling Pomegranate White Tea I found at Trader Joe’s. Delish!
