I’m currently reading The Paris Daughter by Kristin Harmel (which releases on 6/6) every chance I can find, which mostly consists of lunch breaks and anytime before I inevitably nod off in the evenings. It’s the story of two women in become friends and bond over their newborn daughters in the days leading up to the German invasion of Paris. When one of the women must escape to America, she leaves her daughter in the care of her friend. After the war has ended, the young mother returns to Paris to find her friend and soon learns that only one of the little girls survived. The only question is, which one?
Keep an eye out for my round-up at the end of June (fingers crossed) to find out my thoughts on The Paris Daughter and what books I read for the month of June.
