I’m not one to jump onto all things fall this early, but I did find myself starting to binge Gilmore Girls a little early this year. I tend to watch the show in the fall (because the intro to the show with all the fall leaves always sets that mood.) I also take every mid 60s, early 70s morning I can get at this point, which are perfect for getting a litte planting done.
We’ve done quite a bit of planting through the spring and summer, and have been adding a few things here and there over the past few weeks. Our forest space looks so much more welcoming with the gravel area that is surrounded by ferns and Japanese grass. I can’t wait to see what it will look like over the next few months, and hopefully we’ll be able to get a little photoshoot in the space come fall (if I get to order my little table and chairs from Wayfair sooner rather than later.)
This weekend we have the littles, much to Gracie’s dismay, because she loves to be the center of attention and also because she doesn’t love being chased around the house… but the rest of us are really looking forward to spending time with our girls.
Until next week!
