On the List

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, and with that I’m sharing the gorgeous bouquet that my sister sent my mom last year (it’s from Farmgirl Flowers.) This year we’re going to be celebrating Mother’s Day a little late, as we’re keeping my nieces over the weekend. I’m looking forward to having all sorts of fun, and hopefully sharing a little bit of it with you all over on the ‘gram.

I’m currently reading, Funny Story by Emily Henry and quickly starting to realize that there isn’t a book she’s written that I haven’t loved so far. (I’m talking about you Happy Place!) Don’t you love it when you discover an author whose books you truly enjoy reading?

While the Strawberry Festival was canceled this past weekend due to flash flooding, we still plan on doing some strawberry picking this year. One of my favorite ways to enjoy strawberries (besides on their own) is in a delicious Strawberry Salad.

Speaking of good books… I just finished reading Phaedra Patrick’s latest, The Year of What If. It’s another good one, and I can’t wait to chat with the author herself about what inspired the novel. It doesn’t come out until the end of June, so you’ll want to pre-order this one!
