Have you ever seen a dress and known from the second you saw it that it had to be yours? That’s exactly what happened the moment I saw the Dot Ruffle Sleeve Shift Dress from Ann Taylor. It has the sweetest ruffles sleeves, and the shirted silhouette is so flattering.
It wasn’t until I received the dress that I noticed the polka-dots were a tan ‘cappuccino’ color that adds to the ‘summer meets fall’ look of the dress. Just add a layer and a pair of booties to easily transition from summer to fall with this adorable dress.
With the high neckline, I opted to forgo a necklace and instead went with my favorite pair of statement earrings, and simple delicate gold bracelet.
I styled my dress with my favorite Lighthouse Earrings from Spartina 449, Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandals in Gold Nappa, Mika Cat-Eye Sunnies from Anthropologie and my favorite little Tanner Bar Bracelet from Gorjana.
This dress was the perfect option for visiting a few art galleries, picking up a bite of lunch to-go and making a few other fun stops along the way, not to mention it’s seriously comfortable, well made (and fully lined) making it an ideal choice to add to your fall wardrobe this year.
As I add new pieces to my wardrobe for the fall season, I’m focusing on transitional pieces to accommodate the changeable weather. Printed dresses that pair well the cardigans and a jean jacket, casual knits that can be dressed up with a belt, chunky sweater, and booties will be my go-to’s throughout the upcoming fall season.

The Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandal has been my go-to throughout the summer months and I’m currently thinking of outfits that I can pair them with for the fall/winter as well. It’s the perfect sandal whether you’re headed for adventures around town (think gallery hopping and picking up delicious treats from your favorite restaurants and bakeries) or into the office (even though you’ll probably only run into your co-workers coming in and out of the office, and no one will see your feet during your ZOOM meets at least your feet will be both comfortable and fashion forward!)
My thoughts on being a Brand Ambassador for Sarah Flint
For those of you who might be curious about what I’ve enjoyed the most about being part of the the Sarah Flint Brand Ambassador Team, it would have to be the community. Since joining the program in late April, I’ve enjoyed communicating with a circle of my fellow BA’s on Instagram. I get excited every time I see comments and likes coming through on my Instagram feed and immediately going over to my fellow BA’s Instagram feeds and leaving comments on theirs as well. There is something so encouraging and empowering about working with a group of likeminded women who all love shoes just as much as I do.
