CHEVOO is a brand we were introduced to from the Cheese Board Queen, Emily Delaney. They have several flavors of marinated chèvre, and spreadable goat cheeses as well. The brand was started by Gerard & Susan Tuck who moved to the California from their native Australia. (Interview with Susan coming to the blog soon!)
If you’re worried about your chèvre bring shipped across the US and arriving in one piece (etc) there’s no need to worry. Your cheese will arrive perfectly chilled and insulated, and our order came with the perfect little bamboo cutting board, recipe cards etc. However, be sure to pop your chèvre in the refrigerator as soon as it arrives (and if you’re at work, it would be ideal to run home on your lunch break!)

The inspiration for our board was centered around summers bounty, so we focused more on fruits and veggies with a few nuts and crackers to pair with our goat cheese selections. We picked up two spreadable cheeses, but the Every Day Original Chèvre was the perfect ‘neutral’ goat cheese to pair with our fruits/veggies and the Walnut/Honey crackers, and the Garlic and Dill Pollen Marinated Chèvre was delicious on the Chive crackers.
I really can’t say enough about this marinated chèvre from CHEVOO. The flavors are perfect and I’m looking forward to using the left over olive oil in pasta dishes and dressings!
The Every Day Original CHEVOO Spread had the perfect texture for dipping our fruits and veggies (after scooping some of our own respective plates!) This would also be delicious spread on toast with a drizzle of honey, or a dollop of your favorite jam as well!
None of our cheese boards is complete with out a little bit of our honeycomb from Capital Bee Co. It is absolute HEAVEN!
