Sometimes entertaining can be for two. One of my favorite ways to celebrate the start of a new year, new season, or even a new week, is to create a delicious charcuterie board for my mom and I to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon. The light is always best between noon and just before 2 pm in the winter, so a lunchtime photoshoot before we enjoy a charcuterie board is the weekend’s highlight.
While Sunday scaries are a thing of the past when you LOVE your day job, this charcuterie board could have those scaries running for the hills.
I found all of my fruits and herbs at our local Harris Teeter, including a collection of three salted butters from Italy. The chive butter paired deliciously with this board. The Parchment Crispbread is something I’ve been eyeing for ages (also from our local HT) and I absolutely adore it. So light and airy with a delicious flavor that doesn’t overpower your palate.
