During all the years that we’ve been visiting the Ballantyne (which include countless brunches and afternoon teas) we decided to book our first ever staycation. This past weekend we hosted my sister’s baby shower at the hotels Gallery Restaurant, so we figured why not make a weekend of it, and stay the night. We also booked afternoon tea for the following day, but more on that later.
There are always gorgeous flower arrangements in the lobby…
In previous posts both here on the blog and on Instagram, I mentioned that the Ballantyne recently went through an extensive renovation, so I was eager to see how the rooms had changed, and get a chance to experience a nights stay at our little ‘home away from home’.
We couldn’t have been more happy with our room. The beds were so comfortable, we loved all of the grey decor with pops of green giving the whole room a very relaxed feel. The bathroom featured both a shower and a bathtub which is ideal if you’re planning on having a little spa time up in the room, and we had a view of the golf course and the Gallery Restaurant from our balcony.
To celebrate our stay, and to continue my sisters baby shower festivities, we brought along a special ‘swag’ bags that we’d put together. After all, having a one of kind monogramed bag complete with slippers and a few spa essentials is always a good way to celebrate a girls night.
Monogrammed Bag (above) and slippers (via mom), Vanity Planet Eye Mask, Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Rose Gold Eye Masks and Pore Proof Perfecting Mask from Peach & Lily
Finally a chance to wear my PJ Harlow Pajama set and my favorite white and gold robe from Boden.
This was my first time using a Wander Beauty product and I can’t say enough good things about the Baggage Claim Eye Masks. Frist, love the rose gold, second love that these masks weren’t overly fragrant and third there was no eye irritation at all, just happy skin.
Good Night!
