Some of the signs that spring has finally arrived are the beautiful blossoms that pop out on the cherry, peach and pear trees here in the Carolinas. Knowing that green leaves and flowers are on their way always puts a spring in my step, and I was so excited to start wearing my first floral dress of the spring season.
I found this dolman sleeve floral dress at a local boutique and loved all of the shades of blue and the navy background. The sleeves and the silhouette of the dress are just perfect for spring, and I was so excited that a quick trip to pick up a few goodies for my sister and niece gave me a chance to wear it for the first time.
We found this spot the area near our favorite Whole Foods location, as most of the trees in the area where we live have traded their blossoms for leaves. Don’t you love when you find a photo location where you least expect it?
I’ve paired it with a pair of Nine West sandals from a few years ago. Both pieces are no longer available but I’ve linked similar pieces at the bottom of the post. To complete my look I wore my favorite Spartina 499 Keynote Locket and my Essie nail polish (From A to ZZZ) just happened to match my shoes perfectly.
Yes, I did a bit of twirling before getting back into the car because with this flowy look who could resist?
