This Navy Penny Jersey Dress from Boden and shoes Franco Sarto are the perfect match. Whether you’re heading into the office or spending the day in the city or just want to look polished for a meeting via Zoom (no need for the trench on that one) this outfit will have you feeling put together in the best possible way. Plus, who doesn’t love a navy look?
I’ve had this dress sitting in my closet for the better part of a month waiting for the perfect time to wear it, the first time I wore it was into the office (but nobody else saw me except for the three walls and sliding door of my cubicle) so I decided to wear it during a recent trip where we stopped in Greenville, SC for a bite of lunch.
It was a perfect fall day with plenty of sunshine (and temperatures a bit on the chilly side) so I was very grateful to have the added layer of warmth thanks to the trench I picked up last year via Stitchfix. I’ve linked a similar trench below.
Trench (old, 41 Hawthorne, similar here) // Penny Jersey Dress (Boden) // Alexana Wedge Pump in Cognac (Franco Sarto) // Delicate Monogram Necklace (Anthropologie) // Mika Cat-Eye Sunglasses (Anthropologie)
I paired my navy ensemble with a pair of Franco Sarto Wedge Pumps (which look amazing on, but I wouldn’t recommend doing a hefty amount of walking until you’ve broken them in a bit. They’re more of a wear them into the office building and trade them out for a pair of flats kind of shoe.
I kept my jewelry simple with a Delicate Monogram Necklace from Anthropologie. While I do wear statement pieces from time to time (more earrings than necklaces) I love delicate pieces the very most. They always add a feminine touch to any look. If you’d prefer to make more of a statement with your monogram necklaces, Anthropologie also has the Block Letter Monogram Necklace that I’ve seen Rose of Dadou Chic wear on more than one occasion.
