A boo party is a fun spook-tac-ular way to celebrate Halloween with the littles in your life. This year, one of the bakeries in Charlotte, Suarez Bakery, made the cutest little Boo cakes that made the perfect dessert for to accompany our char-boo-turie board.
Having a tablecloth that the littles can color on while they wait for the food to be set up is definitely the way to go. Just have washable crayons and markers on hand and they’re entertained.
Our color theme was pink and orange, but we decided to make a fun little ‘spooky’ bouquet for the food table as well.
Meri Meri always has the cutest boo party essentials.
Char-boo-turie Board
We filled our cauldrons with fresh grapes and blueberries. Our pumpkins were peeled mandarin oranges with stems made of pretzel sticks, We had spooky kiwi ghouls, string cheese, and Reese’s cup brooms.
The acorns were created with halved Nutter Butters with chocolate sprinkle tops and pretzel stems. For more spooktacular fun, we made Oreo spiders and ghostly marshmallows.
For the grown-ups and littles, we also had ham and cheese skewers and cheese and olive skewers.
The PB & J Jack’o’Lantern sammies were definitely a hit.
A selection of munchies: Pumpkin Streudel Muffins, Veggie Chips, Popcorn, and Caramel Corn.
No Boo party is complete without a Boo cake from Suarez Bakery. If you’re in the Charlotte area, I recommend pre-ordering!
Our Halloween art project for the girls was such a fun one. My mom painted ghosts in metallic paint for both of the girls to add googly eyes to!
