For Charlotte’s birthday back in September, we had the most beautiful fairy party at our home, with plans of taking the girls to the fairy garden (aka Jane’s Garden) at the Duke Mansion. This past Saturday we headed to the Queen’s Rd area for a little fairy photoshoot.
The gardens at the Duke Mansion are such a beautiful experience for both littles and adults, with plenty of space to explore on the grounds of one of the Charlotte area’s most stately homes. The Duke is both a hotel and event space for weddings, bridal showers, and other events, including a Halloween event later this month.
These fairy dresses were perfect for both the party and the photoshoot at the Duke. The fairy wands and the fairy dolls were custom-made by Gigi (aka my mom, aka The Needlework Finisher). The girls loved carrying them throughout the gardens and showing their fairies all the beautiful flowers that were still in bloom.
