This winter has been a rainy one lately, with temperatures going between freezing to almost spring like. Since this weekend was filled with showers, I thought why not share some of my favorite things to do on rainy days.
Curl up with a cup of tea, cozy blanket and a good book…
These days I’m reading Tulip Fever by Deborah Moggach. I’m sure some of you have seen the trailers for the upcoming movie starring Alicia Vikander, who seems to be in a lot of movies lately. I absolutely loved her in Man from UNCLE.
Watch some of your favorite movies, or catch up on the latest releases…
I recently had a chance to watch Bakery in Brooklyn which has that old timey romance feel to it. Full review coming soon, and will be introducing mum to The Book of Love.
Give yourself a facial at home, or book an impromptu pedicure…
I always keep a variety of products for doing my own facials. If I feel like I need some time to lay back, close my eyes and just chill, I go with a sheet mask… because all those who love sheet masks know that you can’t exactly go walking around the house in them. You’ll have quite a mess on your hands. Now, if you want to do other things, I don’t mind your family members asking what that gooey stuff all over your face is… I would go with with one of my favorite go two masks… Glossier’s Moisturizing Moon Mask or if your pores need a little TLC… Origin’s Charcoal Mask.
