On our recent mini-break my sister shared an amazing foodie discovery in Greenville, Jianna. Located on the 2nd floor of the building overlooking Falls Park, you’ll have a chance to enjoy the best Italian food in Greenville. All the pastas are made in house, and Chef Michael Kramer created the entire menu. We had an especially helpful waiter, Steven, who shared with us about the restaurant, the chef and it was clear to see that he really loves working at Jianna.
Guests can enjoy their meals in the spacious restaurant either indoors like we did, or outdoors on their L shaped terrace with views overlooking Fall’s Park and downtown Greenville.
Since we were looking to experience as much as we could, we started off our meal with a few of Jianna’s appetizers.
The grilled ciabatta was absolutely out of this world, and I took the word of my dairy loving companions (mum and sister Ashley) on the Ricotta Crostini (Truffle Honey, Sea Salt, Grilled Ciabatta) which does look absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the Grilled Ciabatta with Olive Oil.
For our main entrees, I went with my sisters recommendation the Spaghetti TBG (Tomato, Basil, Garlic, Grano Padano) and mum went with the Cannellini Bean Stew as the air coming in from the terrace was a bit brisk (but also very refreshing after the warm weather we’d been experiencing despite the fact it was November. What can I say, there’s no rules when it comes to a Southern Fall.)
The experience of dining at Jianna’s was one of the highlights of our trip, and if you find yourself in town you owe it to yourself to give it a try!
