Sometimes you need to have a quiet weekend at home, and this is something that we definitely needed after a long rainy week. Last weekend we finally found some bread flour and yeast that have been MIA from grocery store shelves for months. Our plans, try out a couple of focaccia recipes (including one that is on this week’s On the List) and perhaps work in some watercolor painting. We’re three weeks into Simply Jessica Marie’s Color Cocktail series, and since we’ve only had the chance to watch the videos so far instead of putting paint to paper, this weekend for a little actual painting… and also making some delicious pasta (from scratch!)
This week I released my Ultimate Summer Reading List, and I’m currently considering releasing a Part 2 next month because there are so many interesting books by female authors (as well as several more author interviews in the works).
