This weekend we’re keeping things casual, just popping out for a quick little photoshoot, picking up some food from The Cheesecake Factory (I adore their appetizers and make a meal of them!), and then it’s back home for little RNR and perhaps a food styling session or two. It has been incredibly hot here lately so the only thing I’m looking forward to about the upcoming fall season is the fact that we may get some cooler weather where you don’t feel like you’re going to melt the second you step outside.
Next weekend we’re heading up to visit my sister as her due date gets closer, and perhaps have a little early Labor Day picnic that I will share on the official holiday. It’s getting more and more exciting as her due nears and we get closer to meeting little Charlotte. Cecileia has become incredibly attached to one of the baby dolls at her daycare, so I think she understands that she’s getting a baby sister which is the absolute cutest!
I saw this painting at a gallery in St. Simons Island, Georgia several years ago and was immediately obsessed with it. It’s clear the artist was inspired by the beautiful Le Château des Alpilles.
