Well, it has been a week, that’s for sure… so I’m extra grateful that the weekend is finally here. Between tracking down a UPS package (still not resolved!) getting a rental car while my car is in the shop, and life in general it’s been a bit of a hectic one.
Today I’m heading over to Warby Parker to order a new pair of glasses. I’m a contact wearer generally, but I’m sure everyone who wears contacts has days where those contacts just won’t go in because your eyes need a rest. Plus, they have the cutest frames that I’ve had my eyes on for a while now.
After that, it’s off to Society Social. I’m sure you’ve probably heard of the furniture brand through one of the many collaborations they’ve done recently, and we happen to have a physical store just steps away from Warby Parker in Charlotte’s Southend so it seems like the perfect time to go. There’s also a new exhibition that just opened up this week at the ANFA Gallery, so you know I have to pop in there as well.
On the food/recipe front, I recently got in some new European cheeses that I can’t wait to start creating recipes to share here on the blog. Plus, for those of you who enjoy book recommendations, I have a book list for Fall coming on the official first day of Fall 9/22! Expect to see recommendations from authors I’ve interviewed here on the blog, and others that are new to me (and could be new to you too!)
If you’re part of the ‘wear white after Labor Day’ crowd like I am, you’re going to LOVE this Striped Shirred Raglan Sleeve Top. I’m wearing it today and will be sharing all about how I’ve styled it next week.
If you’re in the mood to bake your feelings this weekend, this Caprese Focaccia Bread is a good way to start.
Check out these Fall Staples from J.Crew.
Sometimes you just need an Old Fashion Iced Fudge Brownie.
Planning on making the switch to clean planet-positive skincare products?
I’ve never tried plum in muffins before, but these Plum Oat Brand Muffins look cute and delicious.
15 Movies to get you in the mood for Fall. The first movie on the list is a longtime favorite of mine.
These Crispy Semolina Veggie Pancakes look super yummy.
These Feather Cuff Studs are even more beautiful in person.
The Alma Cardigan and Achille Jumper from Sezane will bring a little romance to your sweater collection for fall.

I was so sure that the top fall movie was going to be You’ve Got Mail! I love that film and rewatch every fall (and have a You’ve Got Mail post coming up on Wednesday!) Eager to see your fall reads post coming up–have a great weekend!
