Happy Saturday, everyone! Before I share my favorite posts of the week, I have two recent book releases that I wanted to spotlight.
The first is Listening in the Dark edited by actress and bestselling author, Amber Tamblyn, and features essays from inspiring women across the industries of literature, science, art, education, medicine, and politics. The theme of the book is all about trusting your gut and having only just started the book, it’s already inspiring me as I continue on my new path ahead.
The next book comes from the Author of Southernmost, Silas House, Lark Ascending which is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the not-too-distant future where Lark is forced to flee the United States. He arrives on the shores of Ireland alone, the sole survivor of the voyage, and soon discovers that this new country isn’t the safe haven he’d been hoping for.
This beautifully written tale, of hope and survival despite all odds, is a book for dystopian fiction fans.
