Since we’re in an almost constant state of rain these days (April showers bring May flowers is a very true statement here in the South). I’m looking forward to trying out some new skincare products from warew’s travel skincare line (reel and review coming soon), making a spring-inspired charcuterie board, provided we have some sunny breaks so I can photograph it, and getting started on my second book for the month.
While I was immensely proud of the fact that I was able to read five books last month, I’m starting a job in pediatrics this month, so I won’t have quite as much time on my hands as I’ve had the past few months. There are so many wonderful books that I want to share with you all, but I’ve narrowed it down to four this month.
Yellow Feet // Josh Brown // Shain Gallery
I finished reading the final book in The Jaipur Trilogy by Alka Joshi, The Perfumist of Paris. It’s definitely earned its spot on this month’s round of books, and I can’t wait to share the interview with Alka soon.

I literally can’t say enough about this La Roche-Posay Toleraine Waterproof Mascara. It’s hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. It gives my lashes a nice lift and curl, and it separates my lashes without any of those annoying clumps. That makes it a 10/10 in my book!
I’m definitely going to whip up a mocktail version of this Bellini Cocktail. (Love and Lemons)
Midi is definitely a dress length that I’ve been gravitating to more and more, and this Ruffled Sleeveless Midi Dress in ‘Serenity Pink’ is just gorgeous. (LOFT)
