Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be; embrace who you are.

Well, this has been a week, let me tell you. In my Anatomy and Physiology class, I’ve moved on from the Integumentary system and onto the Skeletal system. While I learned so much during my medical assistant classes at Clemson, in nursing school, the anatomy and physiology classes are even more intense/detailed. Having taken anatomy before was helpful, though, since this class just builds on what I’ve already learned.

Last weekend we went on the annual Winghaven Gardeners’ Tour, which is always such a delight. We discovered some beautiful gardens that we’d never been through before, and I love that we can recognize so many of the flowers, ferns, and plants we saw along the way. As far as our garden goes, we’ve added Lady Banks Roses, a second camelia plant, new lavender plants in the front of the house, and the butterfly garden. Our fairy (fern) garden is doing so well, and pretty much everything has come back from last season.

This year, we’re also adding a stone border feature in front of the fairy garden that is a work in progress, and we have more flowers and two features for the butterfly garden that I couldn’t be more excited to see. We also already have plans/ideas for a project we’d like to do next year (hint: I’m getting a ‘she shed’ for under the deck!)

This Paris Experience Tour looks amazing.

Berries are my favorite fruit, and this Raspberry Almond Coffee Cake looks scrumptious.

Someday I want to visit Nantucket during the spring or summer. Check out this list of what to pack if you are headed that way!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Cobbler Cake… sounds like summer to me.

Learn how to play Mahjong.

Just in case you missed yesterday’s post, there is a brand new memoir coming out on May 13th. If you’ve ever been interested in an inside look at the world of show (magic), you’ll want to check it out.

It’s Cinco de Mayo next week, and this Skillet Mexican Beef and Rice should be on your list to make for dinner.

This Chantilly Lace Flare Sleeve Blouse is just stunning!

While I ADORE the wrap sandal from Margaux, the MX 35 sandal has just a hint of heel, and I love the Saddle Calf option.

Cheeseburger Quesadillas? Oh. M. Goodness.

If there is one book you need to pre-order for summer, High Season by Katie Bishop is it!
