Ah, the weekend. Finally! Last weekend, we had an event at the Mint Museum, some pre-baby shower planning and a rather rainy trip to Davidson for pizza. For those of you who are local to Charlotte, you’ll know that Davidson is normally about 30 minutes or so from Uptown, but with the road construction it takes a bit longer these days. Why go to Davidson for pizza? Well, ever since we first tried pizza for Mandolino’s (located on Main Street) I’ve been dying to try some again. It’s the closest to ‘deep dish’ that we’ve tried and the pizzas are so massive that they can be easily shared with the family, or last one person for a week!

This weekend we’re going to keep things close to home, with much needed pedicures. We’re every 5 weeks kind of girls, and then it’s off to Taco Molino’s that recently opened up in Kingsley. Here’s hoping it lives up to our rather lofty expectations.
