Well we’ve just finished our third week of week of working from home, I’m if I’m honest, the days are really starting to run together. Some days are better than others, but for the most part I’ve been working to keep myself busy whether it’s working my normal 8-5 job remotely, or spending my evenings working on blog posts and interviews to share here on the blog to bring a little brightness and positivity into your inboxes. One thing that is so important to remember is that we aren’t ‘stuck at home’ we are ‘safe at home’. Thank you to everyone who is working out there on the front lines to keep us safe, and also to those of you who are staying home.
Do you love all things beauty and skincare? I recently applied for the #SephoraSquad, and it would mean so much if you’d leave a short testimonial via the following link. The deadline for testimonials is April 10th.
Last week I’ve shared a few of the accounts I’ve been enjoying on Instagram/Facebook, and this week I had to mention that Charlotte Reiss of @vivietmargo has been sharing daily life chats with inspiring people everyday at 10am (a few of my favorites were her chats with Sandra Sigman (@lesfleursviasandra), Sharon Santoni (@sharonsantoni), and Chloe (@boxwoodavenue).
Also one of my favorite chefs, Chef Massimo Bottura (@massimobottura) has been sharing live videos known as ‘quarantine dinners’ each day where he shows delicious creations in a mixture of Italian and English.
I’m definitely enjoying reading travel posts from bloggers who went on trips before the pandemic outbreak. If you’re looking for some serious inspiration with beautiful Californian views and gorgeous dresses, you must check out This Time Tomorrow’s post, Postcards from California.
I adore blueberries so this Blueberry Coffee Cake from Broma Bakery is definitely calling my name!
Janie and Jack released the cutest collection, and Jean of Extra Petite shared the cutest spring mommy a me look in her post Mini Rays of Sunshine.
For my readers who enjoy Horchata, I thought I’d share Half Baked Harvest’s recipe for a Dirty Horchata.
Sundresses have always been may favorite thing about spring and summer. In a recent post, With Love From Kat shares about one of her favorite White Eyelet Sundresses.
Spice things up with these Easy Pork Carnitas from Damn Delicious.
There’s no doubt that I’ve had a harder time sleeping that normal. You’d think with the later alarm clock time since we’re currently working from home, would make a difference… but I find myself unable to shut my brain off. This can lead to me feeling exhausted during the day… in a recent post Camille Styles shared 5 Ways to Get Energized if You Didn’t Get Enough Sleep.
