We started off our final day in Raleigh with breakfast in the room. Because who doesn’t want to have ‘breakfast in bed’ while on vacation?
We relaxed for a little while in the room before packing up and checking out of the hotel. Since we had a little time before we needed to head over to the Fearrington for lunch, we stopped into a few of the North Hills shops that we had hadn’t had a chance to see on our last trip up to Raleigh.
I picked up these cute postcards and pens to bring with me on future travels so I could have a little something artsy to do during any down time.
We also stopped in Sur La Table to check pick up a beehive cakelet pan and check out some of the other kitchen items they had in store.
One quick stop at the Starbucks… and then we were off to the Fearrington for lunch.
Since our trip to the Fearrington last December they’d remodeled The Goat and the seat areas as well.
After lunch we walked around the grounds and ducked into one of the shops before beginning the long drive home.
