While I thought about a variety of different culinary/foodie-themed gift guides for my first edit of the holiday season, I ended up going with an edit centered around one of my favorite things throughout the year, mocktails. Having a selection of glassware, spoons (decorative and otherwise), and syrups is something any budding mixologist needs to have on hand.
Over the years I’ve grown my collection of glassware to add to my mother’s already envitable collection of napkins etc, and recently I’ve discovered several new syrups from one of our favorite culinary stores, Williams Sonoma that are perfect for keeping either in your pantry or your dedicated bar cart.
One of the unique finds I discovered while making this guide was dried citrus (also as you I’m sure you already guessed, from Williams Sonoma) which offers lime, lemon, orange, and grapefruit slices for adorning all your mocktail creations.
A trusty shaker and decorative ice cube trays that I’ve shared about in years past are also must-haves for any serious mocktail genius. Need a little inspiration on pairings and flavor profiles, there are so many beautiful books out there to pick from!
