When it’s far too cold outside, sometimes you have to take the outfit shoot indoors. I’ve been looking forward to styling this little dark floral dress from Ann Taylor for over a month now. It’s an absolute dream to wear, so comfortable and it pairs well with several of my favorite flats from Sarah Flint, the Natalie, is an obvious choice, the style of this shoe lends itself to both dresses and jeans alike. I also love it with the Sacchetto in sand calf if you’re looking for a lighter color option and if you thought the Natalie was comfortable, the Sacchetto ballet flats are like walking around in your favorite pair of slippers.
The dress is currently on sale and only left in two sizes, so I’d definitely go ahead and snap this one up. You can pair it with a neutral coat for chillier days and wear it on its own on the warmer days as it’s fully lined which is a huge plus in my book.
You may remember the glimpses that I’ve shown into my writing studio before, it’s still a work in progress. the wall border that we’d put up when we first bought the house needs to be taken down and the walls repainted once I decide between ‘Agreeable Grey’ and ‘French Grey’ (just typing it really makes up my mind). We’re also putting in hardwood floors and I have to decide on an area rug as well.
I kept my jewelry very simple. A gold locket and a pair of pearl earrings. After all, a floral print like this deserves its moment to shine.
