I’m sure you’ve all heard about Burt’s Bees before, specifically their lip balms and makeup line… but as a lover of skincare, I wanted to dive into what products I love the post from the brand’s skincare line. From masks for your face, lips, and under-eye area, Burt’s Bees has so much to offer, and if you’re lucky you can find all of these on your grocery store aisle.
Hydrating Stick
Made with Aloe Water, this is by far one of my favorite products from Burt’s Bees. From the moment you swipe the hydrating stick across your face, you can literally feel your face start drinking in the moisture. Plus you can apply this multiple times throughout the day whenever your skin is feeling a little parched. I personally swipe on some hydration right before I head off to work in the morning, and right before I go to bed at night.
If you like to take your hydration with this, this hydrating stick is the perfect size to toss in your purse or work bag before you head out the door. It also makes a good refresher post-workout. So bring it to your next yoga class!
Rejuvenating Eye Mask
These eye masks are with Rosehip Seed Extract & Jojoba Oil and work to reinvigorate tired skin which is always ideal at the end of the day. Under-eye puffiness is just another one of those lovely signs that our bodies are overstressed and in need of a little TLC.
What I love the most about these eye masks is not only do they do their job, seriously just pop these babies on and your puffiness will just melt away, they are also working to open up the nasal passages. A real win/win if you ask me!
To use: Just apply to the under-eye area for five minutes, remove and pat any excess into the skin.
Moisturizing Lip Mask
Made with Meadowfoam Seed & Almond Oils, this lip mask is ideal for use during the winter months and for those of you who live in a dry environment. The mask will hydrate your lips leaving them smooth and kissably soft.
To use: Place mask on lips and smooth over the surface. Leave on for up to 5 minutes. Remove mask and massage in the excess formula. No rinsing is required.
Detoxifying Charcoal Sheet Mask with Honey
This mask promises to help remove those pesky impurities for an all-around invigorating cleanse and it accomplishes all of that in just 2 short minutes. While most sheet masks that I use have to stay on for at least 15-20 minutes if not longer, I love having a quicker option for those days when I’m really too tired to go through my skincare routine.
This one is definitely more fragrant than the two sheet masks that we tried, so keeping it on for the allotted time on the package is definitely a rule to follow. The detoxifying mask is ideal if you need to give your face a much-needed cleanse, and it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and soft.
To use: Unfold mask, smooth onto face, wait 2 minutes and remove the mask and rinse your face with warm water or washcloth.
Purifying Sheet Mask with Kiwi Extract
If you’re looking to gently cleanse your skin + moisturize, giving the purifying sheet mask with kiwi extract is ideal. This mask will remove any dirt, oil, and makeup that you may have missed and is safe for all skin types.
While there is a slight aroma (from the natural ingredients in the mask) it’s very mild, so there’s nothing to worry about if you have allergies to fragrance/scents.
To use: Unfold mask, smooth onto face, wait 2 minutes and remove the mask and rinse your face with warm water or washcloth.
Hydrating Overnight Mask
If you’re looking for an overnight mask (and don’t mind a bit of an aroma — disclaimer for those of us who have a sensitivity to smells) then this mask is for you. Made with Avocado Oil and probiotics you can pop this mask on ten minutes before you head off to bed.
To use: Apply a thin, even layer to a clean, dry face. (Avoid the lip and eye area) Leave on for 10 minutes and massage the remainder into the skin with your fingertips, or use your face roller/Gua Sha.
Hydrating Lip Oil
The 100% natural and responsible sourced hydrating lip oils are ideal for use not only on their own but also as an extra layer of hydration before applying your lipstick which as we all know can be a bit drying sometimes! This lip oil comes in both Sweet Almond (which both my mom and I prefer) and Passion Fruit.
My mom never leaves the house without first applying this hydrating lip oil!
