Remember when I first shared about the balloon sleeved dress that I liked so much I bought it in two colors? While the first was a beautiful floral pattern, this sage green was a color that I’ve been looking to introduce to my wardrobe for quite a while. It’s a more mellow green that the olive tones that I’m used to incorporating during the fall and winter, and I just love how you can take it from season depending on what shoes and accessories you pair with it.
Since my tall brown boots that I typically wear have become more and more uncomfortable since last season, and I found the perfect pair of budget friendly riding boots from Tommy Hilfiger. I went up half a size since I like to wear bulkier socks with my tall boots, and I’m so glad that I did. These boots fit like a dream, and were so comfortable for walking around right out the box (which in my book is the mark of a good shoe!)
To accessorize this look, I paired it with one of my favorite fall hats from the San Diego Hat, The Julian. It’s a very substantial hat, no worries about a floppy brim when that’s not the look you’re going for, and the different shades of brown really worked with this dress.
I went with simple gold accessories, including my Small French Huggies from STUDS and one of my favorite little necklaces from Minimalist Magnolia. (A heirloom gold locket would also make a nice addition to this look.)
I’m also wearing my Corda Friendship Bracelet from Monica Vinader, and I’m pleased to say that my discount code (US20RAFINSIDER-F6C1) for 20% off your order is back up again.
