It all started with the Beehive Cakelet Pan by Nordic Ware (that we purchased at Sur la Table.) From there we purchase the bee skip and beehive tray from Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, ice trays (also from Sur la Table) and fresh sunflowers from the Davidson Farmers Market.
The night before our little soiree, we picked some fresh mint from our deck herb garden and sliced up some lemons to make our mint and lemon ice cubes.

If you’d like to read about the process of how we made both the mint and lemon ice cubes. You can read the post from my foodie blog here.

We also brewed some fresh tea.

Close up of one of our plain honey lemon bundt cakes.

We went with these lemon napkins.

Tea all poured up and ready to go.
