As most Southerners know, the heat and humidity can last well into the fall season, which can make dressing for the season more than a little tricky. Thankfully I’ve found some great finds including this Striped Square Neck Tie Waist Dress from LOFT.
What I love the most about the dress is particular are the sleeves (which is often something that is the deciding factor on whether I buy a dress or top) and the square neckline. The tie waist while traditionally tied in front gives a more flattering silhouette when tied in the back.
These Ankle Strap Block Heel Pumps are another fall fashion find that I’ve been pairing not only with this dress, but also several others that I’ve picked up. I love the design of these shoes, and with the open heel they work well on days when it’s still too warm to start wearing my favorite pair of black booties.
For jewelry, I went with a few of my favorite gold pieces and a geometric necklace after toying with the idea of wearing my favorite Spartina 449 locket. Wearing a geometric necklace with stripes just made perfect sense, don’t you agree?
A few of my other style finds for loft are this Striped Tie Cuff Mixed Media Sweater Dress, because sweater dresses are my ultimate go-to during both the fall and winter months, this Cowl Neck Sweater Dress that I plan on pairing with booties or boots depending on the weather, and for those of you who need more polka dots in your lives, I’m loving this Polka Dot Puff Sleeve Dress.
