This past weekend we had the pleasure of venturing to one of our favorite hotels in North Carolina (and the Charlotte area), The Ballantyne Hotel. We hadn’t attended a themed tea for quite a few years, so going to ‘Bloom with Elegance, a Floral Themed Tea’ was the highlight of our month.
From the tea itself to the scones, sandwiches and desserts, everything featured the floral theme. The set tea for the afternoon was apricot tea, which enhanced the other flavor profiles of everything we enjoyed during our tea.
The Crab salad sandwiches with Bibb lettuce on croissant were so delicious.
