I’m so excited to share today’s roundup of fall hats from my favorite hat brand, the San Diego Hat Company. I recently took part in their FW21 campaign and styled a selection of four hats, two from the Julie Inn Collection inspired by the city of Julian California, and two from the FW21 collection. So, if you love hats as much I do, you’re definitely going to want to keep scrolling to read more about each hat and my favorite ways to style them.
The Drue Boater was one of my favorite hats. It has that neutral/goes with everything color and then my favorite feature, the leopard jacquard ribbon around the band. I mean, can you get any more fun than that? Since we were still having warmer days when I styled this look, I went with one of my new dresses from MANGO and then some of my most love pieces from Sole Society from several years ago that I only style with my favorite looks.
This hat isn’t currently avialable.
This wool fedora with a bow is a fall staple (at least in my option) and if you wear a combination of neutrals and prints (with a heavy rotation of chunky knits) during the fall and winter months, this is definitely a hat worth considering. I have it in camel (which as you can see is the perfect neutral shade) and it pairs well with a printed maxi dress on warmer fall days, and a chunky knit dress as it continues to get cooler throughout the season. I also love this one in the blue and ivory options, and there are a total of seven colorways for this fedora.
The Julian is a seriously substantial hat. It’s made from 100% wool and features a stiff, wide 3″ brim, so no worries about your hat looking floppy when you don’t intend for it to do so! The Julian is available in 4 color options, including the brown that I styled with a navy plaid dress. You can also pair it with a casual look (ie oversized sweater and jeans) or various layered looks for the season. I wore The Julian while adding fall decor around the house, and out to the pumpkin patch, but this hat would make the perfect option for a getaway to see the fall leaves before they disappear for the year!
This Chenille Patterened Knit Hat will give you all the cozy vibes throughout the fall and winter seasons. This particular style is available in seven colorways and features a braided band and the classic chenille pattern which really suits the style of this fedora. There are so many ways to style this fedora, including a more casual look with a chunky sweater (or poncho) and jeans or a cozy sweater dress. Plus, it’s budget-friendly at just $36.
