You may have seen pictures I’ve shared from Modern Picnic over on Instagram, or read my interview with Founder Ali Kaminetsky back in May. I became an official Brand Ambassador for Modern Picnic shortly after that, because there are just so many things to love about the brand including the fact that all of their bags are made from 100% vegan leather!
I’ve been bringing my lunch into the office for several years now, and Modern Picnic has created a unique product that is perfect for professionals who want to look put together and ditch the old plastic sack or brown paper bag for good.
While the brand has several option whether you’re more of a snacker (the ‘Snacker‘ would be a perfect option!) or you need something larger that doubles as both a work bag for your laptop with an insert perfect for keeping your lunch cool until lunchtime like the ‘Tote.’ I opted for the standard size ‘Luncher‘ (it’s now available in a mini version as well) and since I wanted a color option that would blend well with the majority of my outfits, I decided on grey (after flirting with the idea of navy until it sold out and the decision was made for me!) but if you’re looking for other neutral colors, the luncher is also available in white, cream and black.
The luncher has plenty of room for your lunch, snacks and even a bottle of water (or insert your preferred bottled beverage here) an has a handy pocket on the back where you can pop your phone in on your way down to the lunchroom/breakroom to heat up your lunch.
It also comes with a strap for those of you who prefer the hands free route (I take the stairs everywhere, so having a strap option is definitely a plus for me) and you can also have your bag monogramed on the front or on the back like I did for a little personal touch.
To style my bag, I added one of my favorite neck scarves from LOFT to give my bag an added note of femininity and simply tied it around one side of the handle, but you could also completely wrap it around the handle too for another fashionable look.
Stay tuned for an upcoming post where I share some of my favorite things to bring for work lunches. Just in case you need a few ideas!
