I don’t know about you, but I would REALLY like a refund on 2026 so far. Between being sick since Thanksgiving of last year, to having my grandfather in the hospital just after new years until yesterday, I am really over what 2026 has to offer so far. We also have the snow/ice storm possibility which really shuts things down in the south no matter how much they do or don’t salt the roads.
On a more positive front, I’m nearing the end of the first term of my second year of nursing school, and am completely embroiled in the world of microbiology until the end of February.
I have a short list of book recommendations coming your way later next week, that I hope will give you all some titles that you’ll want to add to your must read list. I also plan on heading to My Chapter House in Hickory (if at all possible) before the Valentine’s holiday. As my longtime followers will already know, Valentine’s is my favorite holiday, and my mom has always made this holiday special for me growing up (it’s her favorite holiday too.)
