Happy Mother’s Day one day early to all of the mom’s out there! We are celebrating one day early since my sister and her husband are bringing my niece Cecileia by for a visit. It’s hard to believe that we haven’t seen them since February! We’ve missed so many things, and we’re looking forward to the visit.
To celebrate we’re picking up a delicious torte with Charlotte Torte (featuring homemade ladyfingers, strawberry mousse and farm fresh strawberries) by the ever talents Maria of Eclairesse. We’ve been lucky to enjoy delicious pastries by Maria both last month for my mom’s birthday (see the Spring Soiree post from this week) and now the delicious torte.
We’re also taking a couple of virtual pasta making classes with Pasta Social Club next week that I’m so excited about, both for Hand-Rolled Pasta and Ravioli so I’m very excited to start working on our pasta making skills again!

These Raspberry Crumble Bars from Broma Bakery are an absolute must, and we’re going to recreate them using goat butter and blackberry jam. Also don’t these Strawberry Crepes look amazing?! I’m all about the berries clearly.
