I’m so excited that we’re finally going apple picking today, and not only that we’re going to fit in a visit to a pumpkin patch as well! We’re already enjoying some fall temperatures here in the Carolina’s and it’s only going to be in the 60’s today, so I’m looking forward to wearing some of the new pieces that I’ve picked up for the fall season.
Since my sister, brother-in-law and almost 1 year old niece Cecileia will be joining us for this weekend’s expedition, we’re bringing along a few goodies to enjoy a little picnic lunch at one of the farms. Triple Citrus Spritzer with Honey & Lemon Balm
Ingredients:
Lime Sparkling Water (Spindrift), Honey, Kumquat Infused Ice Cubes, Fresh Lemon Balm
Directions:
Make ice cubes by slicing kumquats in half, adding to trays and covering with filtered water. Allow to freeze.
Add chilled Spindrift Lime Sparkling Water to a pitcher and add 2 tbsp of honey. Allow to dissolve.
Pour sparkling water into glass filled with kumquat infused ice cubes. Add a slice of lemon to the rim of your glass and garnish with lemon balm (or fresh mint).
