Hello, everyone. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week in your respective homes. I know I got a little stir crazy from time to time, so we would either take walks up and down the driveway or take brief drives around the surrounding neighborhoods. Most of the restaurants around us have been staying open for take-out or delivery, so we’ve been doing our part to support them with take-out lunches on different days of the week as a way to help both the restaurant industry and take a break from our days working from home. Even when we’re on our normal work schedules it’s important to remember to take breaks, to take a moment to focus on something else and keep ourselves from scrolling the news reports which I’ve been guilty of on way too many occasions.
Last week I discovered a few accounts that have injected some humorous moments into my break time, including the account of @katie.one her dance videos are the best. (My fav is the Now We Can Really Dance video) and Laura Clery on Facebook.
I’ve also stepped it up on the blog posts this week, with two French inspired interviews with Sandra Sigman of Les Fleurs and Julie of The French Manoir followed by two artists, Stephanie Kirkland and Stephanie King. Yesterday’s post was longer post that I included links and one of my favorite questions and answers from each of the female artist, foodies and entrepreneurs that I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing for the first quarter of 2020.

During the past two weeks I’ve been practicing my French via Duolingo thanks to the recommendation from Carly, The Prepster. I was surprised to find that I actually remembered some of the phrases I’d learned back in elementary school and I love that in just a few minutes each evening you can complete a lesson. Merci, beaucoup, Carly!
