“Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He’s gotta pick this one. He’s got to. I don’t see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there’s not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see.” — Linus, ‘It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown’
This October it was time for our yearly tradition of watching It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, but this year we decided to make a movie night of it. My sister had picked up the cutest set of Snoopy Halloween pajamas from Janie & Jack, along with a surprise pair for me (top/bottom) for my birthday. It seemed fitting to be decked out in all things Snoopy since Charlie Brown and his friends first appeared on the scene 74 years ago (on October 4th).

My mom found the cutest Charlie Brown and Snoopy Party Cups and snack cups on Etsy and we filled them with Raspberry Lemonade and whipped up a batch of our own variation of Chex Mix, in the beautiful bowl that my grandfather gave me this year for my birthday. It’s part of the Peanuts collection at Williams-Sonoma, and they have so many cute things for both Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas as well as non-holiday related Peanuts goodies.
