The most delicious winter charcuterie board was the perfect way to ring in the New Year. With delicious chèvre and manchego cheese, to the perfect sparkling white grape juice, this charcuterie board was the most delicious blend of savory and sweet.
We tried two different cheeses from Laura Chenel for the first time, the original and the thyme rosemary with this board. Both the cracker options were rosemary (Crisps from 34Degrees) that offer a delicate flavor that’s perfect with a slice of cheese, a raspberry (or orange cherry tomato) for a delicious flavor profile, and La Croccantini Rosemary Crackers that are ideal for dipping into the spreadable goat cheese with a slice of prosciutto or Genoa salami.
As always, I tend to go for a mixture of savory and sweet, and when I was on a final charcuterie board supply run, I discovered the most delicious dark chocolate biscuits from Private Select (at Harris Teeter) and delicious raspberries which were like a party in your mouth.
For our semi-soft cheeses, I went with my two favorites, a Manchego (my mom is now a manchego cheese lover too!) and Drunken Goat which has an amazing creamy flavor that will leave you wanting more.
Our meats included prosciutto and our favorite Genoa Salami, which pair well with the other flavors on the board. While I usually go for just one or another, we were celebrating a new year, so why not have both?
If you’re looking for THE beverage to serve with your next charcuterie board, something sparkling is always the way to go. For Christmas, we enjoyed Sparkling Red Grape Juice, but I went with Sparkling White Grape Juice for this board. With the hint of sweetness and the bubbles that tickle your nose, it was the perfect option.
